Always a windy day ?????
 

Just got a 2001 X5 3.0i, 44k, super condition, loaded. I love it:thumbup: , but now that I've been able to drive it a bit...... Between say 50 mph and 75 mph, I need to do a lot of micro steering adjustments, like I'm driving in a cross wind all the time :confused: :confused: :confused: .

I have a 2005 X3 3.0i that does not act or drive like this one:confused: .

Your thoughts please.

easy things to check, an alignment (especially the toe-in/toe-out), tire pressure in the tires....good luck.

I understand your situation as I also have a 2001 3.0 that seems to act weird when the wheel isn't dead center. However, this has never really bothered me but I do notice it. On the other hand, when I have the wheel dead center, and on a straight level highway, I can release the wheel and it will track straight as an arrow. So go figure...guess it's just a quirk. But don't think you're alone, because I completely understand your situation. Hope this makes you feel a little better.
