Best Ipod Adaptor

Yes, this is probably a repeat, but thought I'd revisit since technology is changing / upgrading so fast.

what's the best ipod adaptor avail?

-non-FM transmitter. i am going to have a car shop install
-i want the play list to scroll either on the radio on in my console above the steering wheel
-ability to scroll (and fast forward) songs via my steering wheel control
-non-battery draining while engine is off (i.e. if i left the ipod attached/docked while i am not in the car at home but yet possibly charging when using.)

am i asking too much or is this available? what brand? how much? reviews?

THANKS!

x54.4blue 's correct, the HD Dice will be the new "gotta have it" in about a week - it has everything the DICE has, including HD Radio.

I've got to say that the new HD DICE that Tom from EAS is offering looks like the cat's ass. I installed the BMW iPod kit in my '02 X5 and while it works as advertised, it could be way better. Too bad but that's all they had at the time and my lovely wife got it for me and we're still using it.

I'll soon know what the new BMW MOST kit for the E90 iDrive will be like. I've got it ;) and need to get it installed.

This depends on there you would like the iPod to reside. The module can be located behind the glovebox or underneath the seat.

Can't you put it in the back side panel?

Yes, you would need to put your Ipod in the back as well but you would not need to run wires?

Can you also use a window mounted antenna for the HD radio, I saw a posting with a member doing that for Satellite radio and it look like a good idea?
