Yes!!

Depends if you want more handling or not, H&R definitely gives you much stiffer ride than Eibach ,but thats just my opinion and I have them on in my X5
Nice Ride btw

thanks SilvX5
....the drop is the same approx. 1.25"?

SiLvX5 11-13-2006 05:37 PM

Yes, i know is doesn't seems like much of a height different.. matter of fact i had several of my friends sat in my car and i didnt tell them that i lowered my car until we arrived, they did not noticed any different either from the outside or inside the car, but it makes the handling so much of a different!! but i really think you should consider the roads around your area, I would go for Eibach if the roads are crappy, on the other hand if the roads as smooth as a race track go for H&R!!

Awesome Info....In Boston the roads are crappy...thanks

Lower is better! Is this hard to do yourself?

H&R = Lower & better handling but harsher ride (significant bounce on hways)
Eibach = Only lowers by 1" and good handling but ride quality is very close to stock.

i'm in the market for a new setup as well..not sure what you mean by significant bounce on the highways when it sounds like the H&R springs are stiffer..?

I've tried both and currently have the Eibach since I couldn't stand the stiffer H&R Springs...

When I say bounce, the front end of the X5 literally bounces up and down slightly when driver over the ever slight imperfections on the highway... This is very noticeable at night when you'll notice the lights move...
