Kudos given where due...

I went to my dealer for one of their complementary oil and filter changes. When you buy the car they give a coupon book with discounts and offers of complemenary oil changes.

I had been there a while and the service advisor came looking for me. He apologized all over himself saying the service tech had noticed my rear window wiper blade was leaving streaks and he had already installad new one- without checking with me first. The SA said he would easily return the old one if I did not want to have the new one. I said sure leave it on...

After the car was thoroughly washed, and vacuumed and windows cleaned inside and out, they delivered the car to the reception area.

I was dreading seeing the bill. I knew the $85 oil change was free but just knew the wiper labor would be stiff.

The total charge for the entire service, oil, filter wiper, wash etc was $3.87.

Seems fair...
Kudos to BMW of Murray, (Salt Lake City)

If you still have a maintenance warranty all these things should have been done free of charge. For the first three years I had everything done free, wiper blades, brakes, oil changes, etc.....

Sorry- should have mentioned- it was out of warranty.
