Wheel/tire upgrades

I've got an '01 X5 3.0 with the standard rims and the Michelin 17" tires. Would like to upgrade to a larger rim/wider tire combo. Any ideas on where I can find max wheel/tire size for this model?

do a search on any questions you have...most likely this forum will have that answer. this forum is so full of helpful tips and tons of info.

and when all else fails and you can't find the answer, then do a post and i'm sure someone here will give you a hand.
