Dont remember the brand name, we just got blasted hard with snow and ice up in the seattle area. I got them from a Fred Meyers. they were around 90 bucks. Works great though ;)

haha i was doing some tokyo drifts w/ my 22's, the pirelli assimetricos(dunno spelling) hold up pretty well in the ice and snow conditions, and i live up on cougar mountain(newcastle golf course)

Yeah I heard about the storm. Hope it let's up soon. Don't know anything about chains. If you find out let me know. I believe chains is a generic description of cables also. So I'm trying to figure out what kind to get if i ever need them. OBTW did you see this?? http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...e-go-snow.html

I did see that, unfortunatly i haven't had a chance to try it yet. The most of the snow is already gone, it's raining now up here. the chains work really well, but the ride is bumpy and you have to go slow....no more than 30mph

In fact I'm in France, but my brother still live with his family in the Bellingham area. I heard him on the phone Sunday, he told me that the snow storm was quite big, he was in Mt Baker Saturday and they need 3 hours to come down at the end of the day due to the traffic congestion. Around Bellingham the I-5 was like a junk yard !

Sunday there was a foot of fresh snow in Ferndale, Monday the temperature was about 9°F !

I've been there 7 times and if I have to expatriate myself, my first choice would be between Vancouver & Seattle, the second would be Singapore. You live in a really nice place, we always love visiting our family right there. Even for our honeymoon-trip with my wife, we went to Bellingham before starting a 6000 miles road-trip across the USA (Washington/Montana/Wyoming/Idaho/Utah/Arizona/Nevada/California/Oregon/)
