1) Turn off X5
2) Press the "REST" or "MAX A/C" button and it will light up
3) Climate control will let warm air come through the floor vents for about 20 minutes

I used it today among visiting nursing homes (it was 41F going down to 37F tonight) and it worked well!:thumbup:

My mom's '94 540it had a way you could program the computer to turn the air on at a preset time on hot days. I am kind of surprised that later models dont have that anymore. Maybe it was just another thing to break later on?
