Caliper Piston Wont Press Back In...
Hey Guys,
my driver side caliper piston currently will not go back to its original form, the other side went back with the use of a C clamp with no problem....i've done a search and came across a post talking about turning it clockwise, but doesnt really explain much...so i tried just twisting it while pressing with force...with no luck, it feels like something it blocking it because it just feels like its being blocked....any suggestions on ways around this? thanks guys! :) |
okay well i figured it out myself somehow =c]
but i will just reply incase anyone ever searches for this problem, all i had to do was disconnect the brake line, and pull the piston completely out, cleaned it up a bit, and put it back in...so of course i had to bleed the brakes, but everything works fine now, i believe somehow maybe there was too much pressure in the caliper itself, just a theory but i'm not certain, maybe too much pressure was pushed in when i pressed the other piston in with the C clamp on my passenger side. |
