I think you're talking about the OBC and missing pixels issues, BMW is still replacing them for free even if the car is out of warranty. They'll ship it the new cluster at your dealer and you just need to pay for labor.

They were repairing them for labor and then I heard they were not. Most have experienced labor costs only. I see some that say BMWNA did not help them out at all. I am sure it is the way some people talk to the reps that makes a difference.
