Denison Icelink heat question
Just wondering if anyone has the Denison Ice link plus. And, if creates a little heat? I have mine hooked up and it works great, but the unint nearest the ipod gets a little warm. Is this normal?

Yes, the module will get slightly warm and it is not an issue. Just make sure it is not wrapped up in something else, and that it has some air space around it. It will be fine.

Thanks :)
I also have a new way of mounting it where the cd storage trays are. They snap riht out. I will post a few pics when i get her done later this afternoon. Thanks again |
I lot of us have mounted the Ice Link module or Dice module below the removable CD tray, and drilled a small hole in the tray to run the IPOD connector wire up to the top side of the tray. Looking forward to your pics.

I forgot to take a picture of the cover i made and just realized that the pics are kinda hard to figure out what you are looking at. The ipod is where the cd storage trays used to be. It was very easy to take out the individual cd holders and was the pefect fit.
I will post a pic of the black cover i made as well. |
Interesting. Do you have problems getting the iPod in and out or is it left in the vehicle most of the time?
|
I take it out every time i leave the vehicle. Very easy to grab.
