Rear/Brake Light Help (again)...
I've been getting the rear and brake light warnings for a few weeks. I know the bulb isn't burnt out...that it is the prongs in the green housing piece. I tried to adjust the prongs, but it didn't work.
Any ideas? Do you think replacing that green housing piece will work? I really don't want to pay the dealer to fix it. |

I put WD40 around the white housing (the metal parts) and it works.
I had the same problem, I fixed it yesterday. When I put it back in it didnt work at first then I hit the brake light several times and now it is working. |

BTW...I did buy new bulbs and changed them...just incase...so that's not the problem. |
UPDATE:
I picked up all new light sockets from the dealer on the 30th. I replaced them and everything has been working perfectly ever since!! http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...erscrossed.jpg |
What did they charge you for the sockets?
I have a loose socket. So i may need to change it out.. |

Michelle, when you changed the sockets. Did you replace the upper and lower set? or just one.. I have a lower black socket and an upper orange, i think its orange. I replaced the lower black. And still no luck..
