more oil questions

ok so got the check engine oil level, finally filled up the oil and it was 2 Quarts, is that normal? I've got 11 months worth of driving with about 8-9k miles

is this normal?

2 Qts in 8-9K miles? Normal?

Absolutley...and, maybe better/less consumption
than "normal".

how frequently do you change your oil? I called my $tealer they said 1yr or 15k whichever is first?

If you are leasing, most go with the std "min",
which is indicated by the dash lights. You are
also allowed an "annual oil change", if you don't
get to the yellow light, in a year.

If you bought it, and are keeping it past 50K,
most here do an "inbetween" change at 7500 miles
or so.

Do a search...this topic has been beaten to a bloody
pulp.

Ah, that's the downside of waiting for the low oil warning light
to come on; check it monthly and you may need a slight
top up, or none. Check it at least qtrly and you may have had
to add a qt. Thus, the 2 qt pour in deal, would not be necessary.
