So did you end up buying the X5......

Just wanted to know if there was a happy ending to this story;)

Well, I've talked to 3 different sales guys at the dealer and I don't think they are interested in selling me the car. I tell them my offer ($64K) and never hear back from them again. Finally I talked to the sales manager and he said he won't go any lower than $65.8K The thing is I know a dealer in savannah, ga just sold a black one with 11 miles on the clock for $58K! If only I was looking for a black one:banghead:
Oh well, let the search continue.

take your time... the more time you wait the more advantages you have in negotiating a good deal

a couple of months ago there were a few brand new 4.8 offered for sale at $63500 or lower on Ebay

Black on black w/every option installed for $64.4 I think I'll go for it. What do you guys say?

as long as you can get them to throw in the free all weather floor mats, I would say that is a great deal.

I paid $64K & change for my '06 4.8 with every option a few weeks ago.

A little over $10K off sticker.

By the way it has around 160 miles on it. They said they took it to couple golf tournaments as display vehicle. Warranty is upgraded to 4Y/55K mile instead of 4Y/50K. Decision, decision.
