Help with 4.6 spoiler kit

Hi,

I followed the instruction on this site to install the 4.6 kit but I couldn't glue the front spoiler successfully. I tried different kind of epoxy such as 5mins plastic weld and 10mins gerenal purpose epoxy. I front spoiler won't stick on. Do you guys have any experiment to install this? What kind of glue did you use?

Thanks

Did you clean with front spoiler area with the Iso Alcohol mix? Use a Marine or Windshield Epoxy ( weatherproof ) and tape it up for at least 12-24 hours before you touch it again. Once it takes and sticks - it's not moving anywhere.

Don't use the stuff you mentioned. You need to give it 24 hours to stay and to improve your chances it won't fall off.

Hi,

Yes, I did use alcohol to clean the area. Where can I buy the windshield epoxy? I checked with autozone and pep-boy and they don't sell it. They only have windshield sealant and I don't think they are the same.

Thanks

Stop by any auto glass installer in the country and ask to buy a tube of urethane windshield sealant. In addition, water speeds up the curing process of urethane. It IS NOT an epoxy. It comes in a caulking tube.
