You've got a sickness and you need help. :D

How about a comprehensive list of your mods completed so we know what you have already done. I'm sure someone will come up with a new and creative way to spend your money for you.

:iagree: What have you done so far????

Dblock2151 01-10-2007 02:04 PM

Your exterior is perfect, so might as well move onto the interior. :)

Maybe get a custom box built for the W7, and get some TV's if you're into all that. One thing I was thinking about was painting all the plastic peices (front bumper, door moldings, fender flares, rear bumper) black, like our window trim. The peices on my car starting to fade, so I have to armor all them now, which makes it even worse.

Or maybe get your rims re-done, and get DPE's liquid cinder finish.

Try Mothers "Back To Black". You can buy it at almost any auto parts store. I used it on my trim and I am very happy with the look. My plastic like yours was looking grey and now is balck again. If this does not to the trick Bavarian Autoparts has a two stage black restoration kit. I have not tried this. I was thinking of doing it if I was not happy with the Back To Black but it worked really well.

Thanks bro! :)

I recently just got running boards, and the plastic is new and a deep black. I never noticed how much my front and rear bumpers had faded until I saw the running boards on. :(

Yip.. time for the ole.... Rear Wiper Delete!!!! You will not miss it.

Oh, have you removed the "Death Stickers" from the visors yet??? A little rubbing alcohol will do the trick!

dr.jay 01-11-2007 03:24 PM

How about sellin me the wheels and looking for new ones lolol

X5Jay 01-11-2007 03:56 PM

If you're looking for more performance mods that are invisible why don't you give Powerchip a try? There's been quite a bit of curiosity for these things here but I've never heard of anyone actually trying it on a valvetronic V8 and thus no reviews we've all been craving...

Bostonblux5 01-11-2007 07:54 PM

How about titanium bumper grilles, M-Sport Steering wheel.
Also where did you get the shifter and e-brake boots w/ red stitching?

CanadianX5 01-11-2007 08:39 PM

What about paddle shifters and some brembo behind those great wheels.
I'm sure when your lease is up you'll have no problem selling your gear to someone on this board.

I have heard of some owners doing powerchip on 4.6 but did not end up happy.
imola, have you thought about Eisenmann race exhaust? that may give your X around 6% HP gain. ;) They have a 10% discount sale till Jan 15th.

LeMansX5 01-11-2007 09:56 PM

And if you want to do some interior mods: Have you seen the mahogany interior trim and dual-color individual M3 steering wheel? Also a member here has red leather seats on his 4.6.
Random pics.

The dual-color M3 wheel is little similiar but looks much better than one shown in pic below.

I hate to say this since your X looks so nice...leave it alone already! Sometimes one can go too far with a vehicle and it begins to look overdone.

The one thing you could do is buy a 325XiT and swap an M3 engine in there and you'd run circles around the X. That's why I have left my 4.8 alone - it has a purpose and the more you modify it to be like a wagon, well you could have started with a wagon and been extremely unique. I believe European Car has already done that to a Touring and it's also imola red with BBS wheels - looks sharp and is fast with about 1,500lbs less than what we're rolling.

DipnX5 06-11-2007 11:11 AM

M3 wheel with paddle shifter?

2002Silver4.6is 06-11-2007 12:14 PM

Do you have an exhaust system? Do you have a power chip? Do you have a CAI? Rear wiper delete?
