Radio/Tuner clock time setup problem --:--
 

I am unable to setup time on radio clock, it shows --:-- all the time. As I select to set time, I get blinking --:-- but no options for AM/PM or numbers appear on the tuner display. It is not a big deal but dealership charges $120 just to check what the problem is. It makes me to research my options before paying them. Really would appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks in advance to all who response! - Russ

You didn't say whether you have NAV or just a standard radio.
If you have NAV, you will have to set the DATE first, then the clock will appear. It might be similar with the standard radio.

No NAV, I have the standard radio, I know 5-series have exactly the same as X5. There is no date setup. Thanks!

Might be just a glitch.
I would try disconnecting the batt for 10-15 mins.
