facelift headlights
 

I'm currently in the process of facelifting my 2002 3.0 . I'm thinking of purchasing the oem euro headlights without the ballast, since it would produce the headlight message in the cluster. From what I've seen in realoem, the 04+ x5 comes with projectors even if the xenon option is not purchased. Since I don't want to retrofit the self leveling feature, I want to know if there is an aftermarket HID kit that already comes with the resistors needed to fool the system check. Also does an HID kit from a prefacelift fit the 04+ healights. Thanks for the help :thumbup: .

You should talk to Zulu95 on this message board, he made me conversion harnesses and relay boxes, I didn't need the relays on my 2001 - no error message, I think it depends on your OBC or the year. Good Luck with the face lift.
