Has anyone tried out projector lights?

They look interesting.. The seller is giving an addtional 10% if you send them a picture of the headlights installed on your X5. :)

the seller does have good feedback score. do you know if the seller has sold items similar to this before?

someone mentioned they are not xenon built. Meaning they dont have the beam pattern of the xenons. Its just xenon lights in halogen housing.

Can anyone confirm this?

I have been eyeing these headlights from this seller on ebay as well. Sure would like to know if anyone out there has gotten them and installed successfully...

Just trying to keep all my options open. :)

With those headlamps, the closest you're going to get with HID are the Taiwan halogen H1's with a whiff of Xenon gas sealed inside the bulbs. If you want true HID's, you have stay with OEM Xenon headlamps and retrofit the angel eyes.

you could always buy an HID kit from ebay for halogen headlights. It'll be true HID but the beam pattern will be off.

I dont know if you can adjust the beam pattern for non-xenon headlights.
The auction says: Auto Level/Direction Adjust

I have not bought an item like this from them but I did buy a front spoiler for my M5 and they were fast in shipping and it was what was advertised. Don't expect the attention to detail as OEM but its not bad and they responded to my emails quickly.

I would buy from them again.
