M5 Wheels

Happy MLK day!

I wanted to throw a quick question out there:

Does anyone have M5 Wheels on their X5? I am not sure if this would be a great look but I thought if anyone has this setup, I would sure love to see it before buying some new wheels and tires. I know that the M5 wheels are 19' but I think it may be a good look.....

Thanks to all!

Found out some more information

Apparently there are some people that HAVE put these wheels on the X5. Now I have to get my hands on some pictures!!

Does anyone have suggestions whether I should do the M5 wheels versus the Style 87 Wheels on my X5?

Thanks!

Just called Wheels and Caps.....

They said there would be no way to put the M5 Wheels on an X5 because the offset would be incorrect. Sorry to confuse anyone!:bawling:

Yeah the offset of the M5 wheels are 20 for the fronts and 25 for the rears. The offsets for the X5 is like 46 for the fronts and 40 for the rears or something very similiar to that.

If you are interested, we have replica versions of the M5 wheels that should fit your X5. I have never seen these on an X5 but I think it would be interesting. You might also want to check out our replica M6 wheels as few spoked wheels tend to stand out on an SUV.

Not true. The offset for rear M5 wheels is 28mm, check here. The offset for rear Style 87 and style 168 wheels is 30mm. Somebody needs to try.

LeMan's my bad I meant to say it's 22mm in the rear.

The fronts are 20mm and the rears are 22mm. 18x8 and 18x9.5.

Those are the OEM offsets.

I have 19" aftermarket with a 15mm 19x9 and 20mm 19x10 as well as a set of 20x9 15mm offset and 20x10.5 with a 30mm offset.

45 front and 30 rear. I was thinking of the 19" Spoke 63 but the offset is 48mm front and 45mm rear.

I would like to see them on but also you have to get adapters since the bore size is 74.1 for the M5 wheels.

Assuming that the M5 replicas actually fit (which I am still unsure about), Do you guys think they would look good?
