Hey omodos,
I agree with weasel, if you can't get your fiance her own X5 at least let her drive your X a bit more. Then she'll get that Xy feeling we all get  and hopefully understand. Miker: From my understanding of whl alignm't fiber46 is spot on with: 'But, when you change the width of the tire, then the alignment gets more important. And even more when you change the size, width AND tire profile e.g. from 235/65/17 to 315/35/20. Taller tire is more flexible than thin tire and therfore due to incorrect alignment you will see the uneven tire wear faster in wide&thin tire'. Equals: Definately go with a Whl Algnm't with the winter setup  |

I would get the alignment with the bigger/wider wheels before switching to the winter setup. And maybe ask for it to be set on the straighter side of the specs for tire wear. Any experienced tech would know what to do.

ok thanks for all the input, gonna go check out the negative camber on the rear and see if I have fallen below road legal in terms of tire wear, then i can take it from there, been told that on 4x4 vehicles all tires hsould be changed at the same time, wot if i don't change them at the same time?
