Should I sell Facelifted X5?

Do you think I can get more if i sell my X5 with facelift vs non-facelift? I know you usually don't make the money back from mods but should I switch everything back to non-facelift before selling? BTW its a 2001 w/ almost 67k miles

sell me your facelift parts,PLEASE!
BTW why are you selling it you just finished it?

If you emphasize the face lift in your ad you'll get more moolah. 2004+ are still much harder to find second hand...and they are 35k+....someone will definitely pay more for your 2001.

That's really difficult to say. A facelift front-end by itself may enhance the value of the car, much the same as a well-designed, well-executed body kit enhances the value of a car. But if not done right, it could be a detriment to resale value. For example, if you've installed a 4.8is facelift front end, but are still running 2001 19" Style 63 wheels instead of Style 168's, the illusion is not complete. The installation has to be spot on.

Reversing the facelift has to be costly, unless you're doing your own wrench work. However, if you did reverse it, it's almost guaranteed that you'll get bids here for a complete facelift front-end parts.

I'm thinking about getting a 4.4 with Nav and sport seats and putting the mods that I can take off mine on the new one. Ideally I would end up spending a few grand more after selling mine and getting another one, so that it would be cheaper than just retrofitting those parts.

thanks but I still have mine

The only way I can rationalize selling it with the facelift parts is if I could then afford a 2004. Since they are still going for 30k+ I think it would be best to reuse my facelift parts on another 2001-2003.
