That's really difficult to say. A facelift front-end by itself may enhance the value of the car, much the same as a well-designed, well-executed body kit enhances the value of a car. But if not done right, it could be a detriment to resale value. For example, if you've installed a 4.8is facelift front end, but are still running 2001 19" Style 63 wheels instead of Style 168's, the illusion is not complete. The installation has to be spot on.
Reversing the facelift has to be costly, unless you're doing your own wrench work. However, if you did reverse it, it's almost guaranteed that you'll get bids here for a complete facelift front-end parts.
