What is a fair price??
 

I have 4 Style 57 wheels from my 2002 X5 3.0i with Michelin MXV4 tires (approx. 70% tread life left) that I'm getting ready to list for sale and was wondering what would be a fair asking price. They are really in great shape and would make someone a great set of wheels & tires, especially for a winter setup.

Last year I sold all 4 of my MXV4 tires (w/o rims) for $200.00 and they were nearly brand new. So throw in what you want for rims and there you have it.

You could ask 4ish, and you would not get more;
you might have to settle for less.

I sold my spare set of 57s, with Michey Alpin
dedicated snows (w/a season or two left on them),
for $350, after nearly two years trying to sell the set.

57 wheels do make the best snow season rim set up,
but many here are trolling for give aways and/or go
with 18s> for the cosmetics, even in winter.

Shipping is no treat either, price-wise; I delivered mine
as I was going that way.

MD, I did sell my X on Jan. 5th. Someone came up from AL and bought it. He was the first person that looked at it. He bought it with all the mods I put on it, so now I have a few original things I'm getting ready to sell - tail lights, sidemarkers, original steering wheel & airbag, front grilles, rubber floor mats, and my original wheels/tires. I'll probably list them on here some time this week.
He has joined X5World, but hasn't posted anything yet........I"ve got to get him involved on here, eh?
(I've also got to change my signature - I can't bring myself to do it! I miss that thing so much)

I sold mine (on Craigslist) for $400 with 75% tread left on the tires.

I'm one of those guys trolling for a set of tires. I'd be happy to take the tires and rims for a good price and would probably try to get some winter tires for my current set of rims later on in the year. Can you post some pics or email some pics to me? Also, what would shipping cost to 55347 (Eden Prairie, MN)?

I will have a set of these for sale soon with 3/16" (4.7625mm) tread on Dunlop SP Winter Sport M2 255/R55R18. I have heard this tire is quite expensive since it is the only one that fits this particular rim. What is a fair going price for these?

I just sold these last month to someone in PA. I appreciate the interest in them, though...........

I shipped them UPS and with them being boxed up totally, it was $46.xx per wheel/tire. The total for shipping all four to PA was $188.90. That kind of gives you an idea of what shipping would be......
