do you guys clean the inside/back of your rims?

Do you guys with stock or aftermarket wheels clean the inner portion of the wheel everytime you wash your truck/car?

I have the stock 4.8is wheels and was just wondering as I seem to spend most of my car wash time on the wheels both outside and putting my hands between the "spokes" to get the inner rim.

Thanks.

I do, but haven't so much lately. My hands always come out bloody afterwards though, damn rotors.

Yes...yes...God help me. It's my OCD expressing itself!

I used to wash the outside of my rims every week. Never saw the point of cleaning the insides since the stock pads got everything pretty dirty failry quickly. Finally got tired of it so I swapped out the stock pads for the low dust type and now the inside and outside of the wheels stay pretty clean for weeks at a time.

what kind of low dust pads do you use now? any hints where to get them and costs?
Thanks.

Yes, whenever I detail the X, I remove all the wheels and thoroughly clean the backs. FWhat can I say, I like to keep the X spotless with nothing missed.=)

I get my X5 detailed (outside, inside & engine) every six months and the guy who does it gets the inside of my rims spotless to the point they shine. I know he doesn't take the rims off either.

I always wondered how he does it . . . next time I will ask.

btw I wash my X by hand every weekend. I look forward to it.

Do a search on this site for tips on changing out your stock pads. I bought Axxis Deluxe from Zeckhausen.com and they work great. It is fairly simple and not too expensive to do, especially if you do it yourself.
