Need Help

Just purchased Alpine CD Changer, no instructions enclosed. been told X5 (04) has wiring pre-installed, what am I looking for?

Had a look in L/H rear compartment, where DVD player etc is, but cannot see any spare connections, any hints would be appreciated.
Cheers

Thanks, I've read that one, problem is with item 6:

6. Locate audio and power cables in vehicle. Connect the three pin power & I-bus cable
to changer. For vehicles without DSP HiFi connect the 6 pin audio cable to changer. For
vehicles with DSP HiFi connect the single coax digital audio cable to the changei
(for DSP the 6 pin audio cable need not be connected).

I cannot locate the power/audio cables! :)

when you first open the panel, look down near the side of the cargo floor. the pins should be tied down to some other wires...becareful, the tie that holds the pins is very strong.

Thanks..... still looking, but getting dark here now :) I'm wondering if the DVD Player for the Nav Sys is using these pins!

No, the pins should be free. See above pics.

oh...it's probably different in each car...my pins were tied down to a thick bundle of wires with this really really strong plastic tie
