THey dont look bad....this concerns me tho. They make them sound like OEM..

Wonder if they'd hook up the price a little more if there were several of us ready to commit to purchase? I'd like to get a set of these myself. Anyone have expierence with this seller?

I've bought two sets - 87s and 132s - from these guys and have had a good experience both times. Search my posts for more info. Good luck!

They are fine. It's funny you can tell they are BMW replica's because the letter near the center caps are backwards because of the mold they made of the OEM.

BMW Centers meaning they will fit the OEM centers. Some replica's require that you use their center caps which are slightly larger than OEM's.

I have a set of 87's and I think they are great. Since I am not worried about taking a corner and tracking the car its of no use for me to buy OEM for three times the price. The quality is there and the finish is great.

Go for it. FYI the concavity of the rears are not as extreme as the OEM's. The offsets are the same if not a little bit better.

I have a set on my 3.0 X5 and they work fine; got them from ebay after looking at the aftermarket guide mentioned above for around the same price. Look great and nobody ever took the time to look to see which way the BMW was spelled either. Looked so good in fact that I just traded my 3.0 for a 4.4 X5 yesterday and the dealer wanted me to leave the wheels as part of the deal on the trade. Told him no waay and he could keep his "discounted' $2800 for a new set from his parts department on the new 4.4! :) PS I have Toyo Proxie ST's on mine and so far soo good.

Well the price is the lowest on eBay, and probably anywhere else...

I'm new to the forum so isn't it better to support the forum sponsors? I ordered my 132's earlier this week from them..... after reading the buying replica wheel guide, and reading alot of threads about Lakeshore wheel and Tire I decided to buy from them....

So they'll do the wheels and tires for 1250? That's pretty decent. Cheap, no name brand tires for my Lincoln LS were 1200 for tires alone.

Sterling 02-16-2007 10:14 AM

You couldn't give me Continental tires...... but I would be worried about quality of wheels that cheap...... 20's may be easier to bend... and replacement tires are going to be expensive...... keep in mind you get what you pay for..... I went with 19's from a reputable vendor.... what happens when you have a problem? you've already provided feedback on ebay by that time, so most sellers on ebay ignore you after that.... even when they offer a warranty...... so do some research before you go for the cheapest route. I've been modding cars for over 20 years... and rarely is the cheapest way to go the least expensive... especially if you have to do it over again... just food for thought.
