replacing outer CV boot (c clip prob)
 

I've followed hayaku's excellent article on replacing the outer cv boot. Much of it went according to plan in removing the parts. However, now I'm trying to reassemble it and I'm having trouble getting the cv up the shaft past the c clip. Even though I'm trying to ensure the c clip is going inside the cv equally, about the only thing I seem to be doing is bending the c clip.
