Freezing Washer Fluid....

Being that this winter has been super cold for us in the midwest, I am having this problem with my windsheild washer fulid freezing in the small outlet on the hood. I get 1 shot just after I get out of the garage, then its all over. I thought about changing to a different fluid, but there is a TON in the container and not looking forward to draining that out. Anyone have any ideas how to prevent this?

to work in below 0 temps. oh well.

I guess add alcohol and use it more frequently?

The cold weather package didn't come with heated washer nozzles in '01? My '04 has 'em...

I didn't know that - I guess that's why mine doesn't freeze

Better still, stay inside in the warm, keep the X tucked up warm in the garage and drink the alcohol ;)

If you open the hood, you'll know you have them if there are wires running up to them... ;)

Good question - I'm not sure. My guess is that they're either always on when the car is running or there is a temp sensor somewhere that triggers them at a certain temp - along with the side mirrors...
