HEADLIGHT WASHERS' Do I have them?

Just wondering, when I look at my front bumpers I see two caps that look like they are covering nozzles or something right under the high and low beams.. I figured that when I squirt the fluid they pop up..

So i went inside adn squirted and came back ourside.. Nothing

So are they really just caps since the previous owner maybe did not spring for that option?

Or is there another way of doing it?

Thanks!!

If you can see two square shaped caps then I guess you should have them...are they stuck by any chance???

Only squirt every 5th time.

I guess they could be stuck.. I never paid them no mind since i thought they always worked..

whats weird is that I have seen some X5''s with two nipple like things sticking out of the bumper yet mines are flush with the bumper..?

Anyone with an '02 have any info?

what do you mean only every 5th time??

I thought all washers were the ones that stick out. The "two nipple like" things to which you refer to above.

Perhaps the previous owner retrofited ones, or planed to and never did? I have never seen an X where the washers pop out like they do on the 3series.

Depress the washer over and over and on the 5th time the water will squirt.
Like 1,2,3,4,5 bam!

You don't have them on your year X5 unless you have the Rhino horns. What you are seeing are probably just caps for the holes they're supposed to be mounted in.
