That maze of black brackets comes off with just four bolts! In the upper left and right corners, you'll find some thick foam sticky tape. Peel that back about 1/2 way and you'll find two of the nuts that need to be removed. Two additional nuts closer to you in the "V" of the maze need to be removed and the entire bracket comes out. The nuts are about 3" apart from each other - I think they're 17mm size. Once the bracket is removed, the battery comes out by removing the one long hold-down bolt on the right side. Remove the battery cables, remove negative first, then positive. Put in the new battery, then the hold-down bolt, connect the postive cable first, then negative. Replace the "maze" using the 4 nuts and you're done! Let us know how it goes!!! BTW, Autozone has very good replacement batteries - make sure you get a battery that has the "vent" connection so you can connect the vent tube so you're not venting hydrogen gas into the trunk/cabin. Cost for repair is about $100 vs. $300+ at the $tlr. ;)
