Twisting the Clown Nose

A tip originating from stangmatt66:

What does twisting the clown nose do? other than tilting the mirror to another position?

...or is that supposed to be it?...

any interesting thoughts or facts? :D:D:D

When you twist the 'nose' it changes the angle of the mirror inside which in turn reduces the amount of glare from headlights behind you. If you have an automatic dimming rearview mirror than you do not have to worry about this.

...and the nose can't be twisted without breaking it.

ohhh....okay. it just seemed strange because after i twist it, it's completely useless...it's completely pointed in a place where i cannot see the rear window anymore...

thanks for the info

awww...

is there a correct position? left or right? or is it a matter of tilting up or down...

...this feature doesn't seem to be that useful...unless you want to use it as conversation mirror with the people in the back; but i don't like people staring at me when i drive
