BC Button broken?
 

yesterday I was filling up, and went to reset the mpg on screen, and noticed the button was not working to toggle menu's on my cluster, as well as reset them failing.

I looked in the fuse box, and found fuse 7, and 41 had a reference to the computer, but i assume they were for something of a larger magnitude.

Alas, they were all fine.

The turn signal, and brights hazard still works, so I am confused how one connection in it is broken. I searched, but cannot find any reference to this issue.

Has anyone else had this problem?
What did you do to resolve it?

Same here. Either change the $140 stalk or learn to live with it as I am doing. Just another fine example of the cheesy nature of modern BMW build quality.

Anyone else with the experince?

It seems odd that the entire assembly needs replace due to one contact button :(

Not odd, just profitable.
If I decide to change the assembly I intent to try and open the switch unit to see if future repair is possible.
