questions before buying replicas on E-bay
 

I am planning to buy replica 87s from AFS on E bay but I noticed that it says it fits 2000-2004 X5 models. I have a 05 X5 and not sure if it will fit. I thought all year X5s would fit.

Also I found something interesting on BavAuto while looking for lug stud wheel locks, I put in my info which is 05 X5 4.4 before choosing a product. I came across lug stud wheel locks and noticed it says it would only fit the X5 thru 4/2005 production. http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp Does this have anything do would the AFS replica fitment on my 05??

One last thing, is there anything else I need if I buy the set with tires mounted and balanced already? I have heard something about hub rings?? and can I use the original lug nuts that came on the stock 18's. Thanks.

These sound like good questions for your seller. But from my experience most OEM size replicas fit without issue and usually can use the existing studs. I've heard of people using hug rings, but I have never needed them. I run Style 87 20's.

If you get the rims/tires from a good seller they should provide you answers to any questions. And once the package arrives, it should only be a matter of putting the rims on.
