Coolant and brake fluid
In maintenance book it says to replace coolant every 4 and brake fluid every 2 years.
I wonder if this should be done under full maintenance program for new cars? I just bought 2003 and there is no record of those fluids replaced. Thanks! |
Should be or, should have been done; in your car,
at least the brake fluid by now. Many dlrs don't do it, unless asked. If it was done to your car, it will show in your service record via a "key run" at your dlr. Both are very important, imo; the brake fluid is common sense and the coolant change may help prolong the fragile cooling system components these cars appear to have. GL,mD |
I have printout of all dealer codes with descriptions. There is no record of those fluids replacement. I still have 8k/6mo on a warranty. Will tell them to do that at next oil change.
