SuperGreg 02-26-2007 08:40 PM

Love the wheels, and rabbit, please quit saying "more pics please" to every person that posts pics. Thank you ;)

ncx 02-26-2007 08:53 PM

Great job. Those wheels are tight with the white.

Sterling 02-26-2007 09:39 PM

how do you remove the roof racks?

FrankX5 02-26-2007 09:44 PM

Thanks for the compliments ;)

I found out how to remove the roof racks from these two threads:

X5Ghost 02-26-2007 09:58 PM

why didn't you clear the fronts when you put the angle eye?

trueX5er 02-26-2007 10:02 PM

Nice pics! Wheels look pretty cool :D
AE's look good.
6th pic is excellent!

X5ive 02-26-2007 10:05 PM

Nice work:thumbup:
Are those style 89 wheels?

I would have but at the time I couldn't find any of the clear (non-amber) lens's. I would like to still have them done though...know where I can get any? I'm talking about the ones that come on the sport models...

Honestly, I don't know. The only other bimmer I have seen them on are 760's.

PersonaNonGrata 02-26-2007 10:08 PM

Nice job! I always say that Alpine White is the dark horse, pardon the pun, as one the nicest colors for X5's. Love the wheels but I wouldn't want to be the one cleaning them. :D My suggestion for a next mod would be the 4.6is spoilers and an exhaust.

:kewlpics:

Glad to see you left the waffles in your headlights when you did your Angel Eyes. I haven't been able to find any pictures to compare to the completely cleared headlights. Looks like I'll be going completely clear when I finally get around to doing the mod.

Frank nice mods but damn living in Sarasota you shouldn't have no excuse for having dirty rims, especially the insides of em. You should consider Axxis Deluxe B-pads to cut back on brake dust (you'll luv em) Oh and paint your calipers and rotors. That'll def clean up the look and compliment those rims better. Give us an update when you get that all done:thumbup:

X5Jay 02-27-2007 09:28 AM

Great looking X Frank! What type of wheel bolts are those - I don't think I've seen those before in that color and rounded?

X5Dawg 02-27-2007 10:13 AM

Dang you!!!! We are going to have matching X's!!!!!! I was going to order those wheels in the next few weeks for my WHITE X5.

Oh well, at least I know it will look good!!!

Hey, how is the ride?? Where did you get them??

noncom23 02-27-2007 10:31 AM

Great wheels!! Good job over all.

JayX5 02-27-2007 11:20 AM

Sorry, don't know much about calipers and rotors...how would I go about doing all that?

Budarooski 02-27-2007 04:27 PM

Looks great. You need to clean your fender wells EVERY TIME YOU WASH THE X5, as well as the inside of the rims. Clean 'em once really good and from then on it's a simple wipe down at the same time the rims are cleaned.

BTW, where'd you get the rims?

FrankX5 02-27-2007 07:16 PM

I got them from a company off of Ebay called Bones Enterprises. They were a wheel and tire package. They had some of pretty nice rims to choose from.
