Service Interval Display

Hello everybody,

I am wondering if Service Interval Display can have be in yelow lamps only. I went to BMW center and they reset Service Interval Display. I expected that all laps will be in green color. However, They are kind of between yellow and orange. I'd like to know if it is normal.

Thanks in advance,
Vlad

Is there any way we can make disappear those interval lights? My X5 has done 7000 miles since last service and still have three more bars. I want to get rid of them to get it serviced soon.....

they are resetted at proper service intervals; you just have to wait for them to count down. you can take your car to the dealership when it reaches one green block

Drive more! You can't reset them unless the yellow or red light is on.

....sorry, should be able to reset them anytime you want...see the #8 article under the "Engine and Transmission" section on the home page....I'm off warranty, so I reset them as soon as I loose 1 green bar....it's just a meter that suggests service intervals...can't stand seeing anything but 5 green bars....I service as suggested by the manual.....
