Is it worth it to buy a 04' x5?

I have a 2002 3.0i and this site has made me get into the modification mode. Before I drop a fair amount of money into this I want to make sure I dont regret it in another 6 months to a year.

So the main diffrence is the X-Drive? Which varies the power on each axle from 0-100%?

My x has 54k miles... If I were to get a post 04' it would have 20-40k.

sounds like u r not sure about getting the 04 X, do u prefer getting an e70 instead?
