I really like it - I've always liked the H2's. A friend of mine who lives close by has a moderately modified black H2 and it looks and sounds fantastic.

Best of luck and how about a few more pics (interior too!)?

If you live around the environment as shown in this video then I agree with you Hummer is the truck for you. But the video is obviously cooked up by Hummer guys to make the Jeep look bad. I am sure Hummer had some falls in those areas and were edited out.

BMWs are designed as performance vehicles to be driven at speed with very good handling. See if you can do this with Hummer and still stay on four wheels in the end.;)

Congrats and good luck with the new ride. I know what you mean about the bumpy roads and the stiff ride with the X. I used to live on a dirt road and tow dirt bikes too. I agree with the other members on the board - it rode much smoother with the 17" winter set up.

My ex-husband has the H2 and I drove it for a while before I moved. I will say it has a cushy ride however it is a pain in the a$^ to park at the mall and drive on narrow roads. The eco-freaks give you dirty looks too.

Have fun with your new truck - Like you said you can always get rid of it if you don't like it.;)

actually i like the h2 and the h3s but they are way to heavy 8000lbs. plus the fuel economy is kinda... yeah...

I like:thumbup: very much.

If you are intending to go off road then the X5 would not do the job cause it's crap no doubt about it.

Towing well the X5 ain't great either.

However on the road don't think you will find anything better than the X.

Why don't you think the X is good at towing?

well first of all you got to remember I am only talking diesel engine 4x4's which in fact are best for towing with their low down torque.

I'm not saying the X5 can't tow but I am saying within the range of 4x4's available in the market over here in the UK they are much better motors for towing.

Here is the ones we have owned in the past 6 years and how I rate them for towing i.e. Handling, stability, pulling power, torque, and towing in fields.

1st Touareg 5litre V10
2nd Range Rover HSE
3rd Discovery D3
4th Mits Shogun LWB
5th X5
6th Merc ML270
