Stall...

Question for you guys. I had my car stall on me today, when I was turning it around,. just went off with all lights on the dash. My X has stalled before, but not for the last 6 months. Stealer said that X's run rough in the summer (110 degrees or so), but it is march, only in the 70s. My question is should I take it to the dealership? Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? It is a 2002 3.0i with only 41,000 miles on it. Thanks.

I would say for sure take it in. But I am not familiar with this problem before 2004 cars. My 2003 did not do it.

I just ran down to the local corner store to pick up my mega millions tickets and my X also stalled just as I was pulling into parking lot. I put it in park and it restarted immediately, first time this has happened. Its also 9 degrees outside maybe that has something to do with it?

I have posted on this before, but never got a straight answer.

I had that happen to my '02 3.0 at around the same mileage. (Not sure if that makes a difference.) I had just filled up and was turning left when everything shut down. I restarted and it all was back to normal.

I would have to research my service records but IIRC, the problem was attributed to a bad ignition coil.

Did another quick browse and found that stalling could be related to MAF malfunction. I hade code P0174 come up on me a few weeks ago. I did nothing but reset it. It has not come back on since, but could this be the problem.
