Procedures On Changing Exhaust ??

Hello Guys. I Am Planning To Change The Exhaust Pipes On My 3.0i X5 And I Was Wondering If I Have To Disconnect Anything In The Car Before Doing Any Welding To It. Disconecting Things Such As The Battery Or Anything??

If your going resonator back...you shouldn't have to disconnect anything
