Is Bentley planning an X5 repair manual?

Just curious. Or should my E39 books apply to most of the X5?

I heard somewhere that they were.

I have considered buying a set of E39 manuals, since a lots of it should be the same (engine, tranny, some of the interior and electrical stuff), but haven't cuz I don't want to drop $170 on the E39 manual if the X5 manual is coming out soon.

Anybody feeling motivated enough to contact Bentley about it? I'm feeling lazy. :rofl:
