Save Gas Velocity Turner - Has anyone tried it?

Hi,

I see auctions on eBay and other website about this Velocity Turner that you simply install between the air filter box and the throttle body and instantly you have better gas mileage and HP.

You can read more information from the eBay auction at the Item number: 330099217719. It states that it works for BMW X5s.

Has anyone heard of this before? Does it really work? Has anyone bought it and used it? It only cost 10 bucks. Thanks for any feedback......Jimmy

I'd beware of anything that costs $10 that claims to save any amount of gas. Not just going by the cost, but I have a co-worker that has tried one, and noticed no difference ...

try the electric supercharger too man:rolleyes:

Use that sawbuck on lotto tix or a couple of cold ones...

Your mileage will be the same, either way.

Those things are excellent - I'd recommend getting 2 or 3 and perhaps you won't need to go to the gas station more than monthly! BMW engineers really missed the boat on this one!

Just being facetious - don't waste your time and $$ on that crap.

It's gotta work if it's being sold on eBay.

Well,
I'm a brand new member to this forum and I thought I would get good informational feedback.....but what do I get instead...... a bunch of yahoos trying to be funny.

I am sure more witty comments will follow this post on how "You asked for it" or "You should not have asked" This forum is a class act....you guys rule.

Thanks for nothing www.xoutpost.com

It's been proven again and again by agencies that test these things......that these "gadgets" dont work. What does work is properly inflated tires, engine in good shape, smooth driving, and less right foot. If these results still aren't satisfactory, you probably didn't buy the right vehicle.

Seriously, lighten up.

Yo Jimmy,
Thanks for the kind words...what do you think a 10 buck gizmo from
Ebay is gonna do for your mpg? Really...if there was humor in any of
the post responses, good for us. No one called you an idiot or, ...

And, you are correct in one aspect: this board is a class act.

Maybe you should try some of those 3 day wonder diets.
Good Luck,mD

Quicksilver 03-15-2007 07:02 PM

Come on Jimmy. I think there's was a little tounge and cheek going on here. That was the feedback. So rather than nothing you got some folks who decided to exercise a sense of humor. Get use to it. It's called a happy life and your suppose to enjoy it with the rest of us.

China Man 03-15-2007 07:51 PM

take it easy, we are a class act here, and not in the sarcastic way. Don't take things the wrong way, but as said a few posts earlier, if this product actually worked, he/she wouldn't be selling it for $10 on fleabay ....

noncom23 03-15-2007 09:14 PM

Come on back Jimmy. Its all in good fun. You'll get used to it.;)

:tsk: pack it up then. You could have used the search for "fuel saver" and found a HUGE post discussing the topic.

Then you cry a river when people attempt to set you straight.....
