4.8is is from 2004-2007 and is designed with sporty suspension and handling and most HP in E53 X5 clan. 4.8i is the 2nd gen X5 and replaces the E53 X5 4.4i.

Thanks guys this board is quite abit warmer than the E90 board- I did a search on the suspension on the sports package then asked the questio and all I got was
""Use the freaking search!!!" WHich I did first but I didnt get any quirie answers to my question. Much friendlier here thanks.

I'm late to the party but :xoutpost: Nice bunch of autos you've amassed. It's damn near a perfect blend. There are indeed some P-car fans/owners/former owners here. In particular you'll want to chat with Hayaku who has a Guards Red 996 race car (gutted, cage, etc.) and B-Line who has tracked his 993C4S, his 997TT, and his 4.8is!

PNG I think I have met Hayuku already He showed me his X5 rig pulling his
GT3 in the trailer to the track. I was impressed!!
SanGuru Love your CS a buddy has a 360 and I was at his house right after I got my X5 Mine didnt sound as good as his. I can hardly wait till I see your new RS-STUNNING cars!!
