Courtesy Lights on Mirrors?
 

Hi all newbie here,

I would like to know if it is possible to add the exterior courtesy lights to the mirrors on my 2001 X5? Has anyone tried this? There are snap covers on the bottom of both my mirrors, I assume they might be for installation on the light module. In a perfect world the harness should already be there for me to just plug them in.......wishful thinking??? Any insights anyone can offer would be appreciated.
