Eisenmann Exhaust Question
 

Has anyone install Eisenmann race exhaust (DIY). It looks like it will bolt right up. Eisenmann sells it for 2,200.00 plus shipping. Is there any other suppliers.

yes. And you can buy from any of their dealers. Use dealer locater . For warranty and that kind of money, I will buy from authorized dealers only.

Thank you LeMans I'm heading for a dealer in Rockville to check it out. I have install pipes and mufflers on my other trucks. I'm always a little scared to screw with my X5. I've had the dealer repair everything to date but biulding up my nerv.

What is the difference between the Race and Sport versions?

How loud is it on the highway and at idle?

idle at startup is loud, until it settles down to a nice burble.

on the highway, there is not heavy droning........unless your driving with a cement foot, which i sometimes am.
