just put on the new dustless pads and beeded them in but the pedel feels very mushly, nothing like it was before.
has this happened to anyone else? |
What brand pads did you put on??
mushy pedal feel: when the idiots at beverly hills auto designs installed my brembos, and handed the car back to me, the car had mushy pedal feel also. took it rite back to them and found out that they didnt bleed the brakes properly, there were still bubbles!!! re-bled the brakes and the problem was fixed...maybe you've got the same problem?
i got the axxis deluxe plus.
you still have bubbles in your line. Bleed it again.

I'm lost, what does air in the brake lines have to do with replacing brake pads?
Mine was the same after installing Axxis pads. Just as firm as before.
how hard is bleeding the lines?
does bedding in the pads have anything to do with the brake pressure? |
Don't understand why you opened the brake system, just to replace the pads. :dunno: You should be able to change the pads without opening the system. I have done it this way for years without any problems. However, if the pedal is mushy after taking it in for pads, perhaps the mechanic did open and allow air into the system. I agree to take it back and get the brake system properly bled. Good Luck
