this is a big thanks to all the members on this forum who provide all the information guides on how to do things to an x5
so far i have used the key programming guide as i went go karting with my keys in my pocket and sum how my key lost the programming for the doors

then i have used the how to reset brake pad wear indicator

and the best one i have used is the tow hitch guides as i purchased a detachable tow bar with genuine wiring plug and relay from ebay but had no instructions
