Smg Retrofit Problem
 

Hi everyone,
Just done a SMG retrofit using Sudesh's wiring loom and everything went together great.When I connected the battery again and was getting ready to try out the paddles the Nav unit is asking me for a code.I entered the code but it does not accept it and after three attempts the alarm starts sounding.Now in the manual it says to dissconnect the battery again and wait 5 min and reconnect then the clock on the nav unit should count down 10 minutes and then I should be able to start the car.But the timer on the Nav screen does not count down it just stays at 9:59 min and does not move.My X is now stranded at my work and I have no idea how to get it started again.Called the dealer and they said they will call me back but they still have not called me back yet.I would appreciate any help from anyone please please please.

All sorted must have been a freak thing....... replaced battery and then timer started counting down........paddles work great and Sudesh your wiring loom worked a treat so easy to do....thanks so much for sharing your knowledge
