Power door locks don't work

What's up guys. I installed a sub to my factory stereo last night and now my power door locks don't work. I used the tutorial shown on the X5World home page. I checked all the corresponding fuses to the central locking system on the fuse panel in the dash and they all still look good. I found a thread about the hazard and door lock button not working, but only my door lock switch isn't working. Neither does the remote on my key. I can still lock my car from the key hole and when I lock and unlock my car that way, the alarm still sounds like it works. Can anyone else shed some more light on this situation.

sounds to me that you have shorted out a fuse or relay switch. I would take it to an indy shop to check fuse and relay voltages. Or if you know how you can do it. You just need that voltage checker thing, sorry don't remember the name. Its something very minor. Good luck...

I have a Multimeter so I can check voltage, but I honestly do not know where to start checking. Hopefully I can figure it out on my own soon or with some help so I don't have to take it to a shop.

This might be a total wild goose chase but did you check to see if there is a fuse for central locking on the rear fuse panel?

I checked the rear fuse fanel. The only fuse back there related to central locking was for the rear lift gate. I checked the fuse there and it was good. This sucks. :dunno:

anyone else have any suggestions for me?

If all the fuses I find related to the central locking system are all good still, where else should I look to find the problem?

Could also be that the switch is bad? Never know. It might come down to the little switch itself. Good luck...

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I still can't figure out the problem, so I gotta take it into the shop to determine the culprit to this problem and get it fixed. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much.
