First pics of my car here on X5World

What's up guys. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Girard and I live in San Diego. I used to drive a 2004 VW GTI, but sold that back in January. I picked up my X5 back on March 10th and I just got a chance to take pics recently. Here's a few I have right now. The pics I have are kinda dark. I've got some more but they're on my friend's memory stick. Hope you guys like it.

They are JAZ Triumphs. They are a knock-off of the Breyton Spirit wheels. I've got a friend that works @ JAZ so I got them for dirt cheap.

Unfortunately, not right now. I have some more pics with better lighting, but they're on my friend's memory stick and I haven't gotten a chance to get them from him yet. I will probably take some day pics this weekend. I'll post up more pics as soon as they become available.

streetsoffire 04-12-2007 10:25 PM

GiRARDsays: The GTI was butter, and it continues with the X.

Thanks! I bought the headlights, sidemarkers, and outer taillight sections as a package from a local guy that sells on eBay. They are all OEM parts. Here is the link to their eBay store.

The full set cost me $950. I didn't have to pay for shipping since I just picked them up from him.

GiRARDsays 04-13-2007 12:53 PM

Thanks for all the compliments!! I've got a lot more planned in the coming months.

- 4.6is kit with rear flares and optional front flares
- full custom cat-back exhaust with X-Pipe in place of stock resonator
- Rogue Engineering Power Pulleys
- Brembo BBK Front and Rear

DipnX5 04-13-2007 01:05 PM

Sick man I really like your X. If I don't have xenons now in a 02, and I were to buy the $950 light kit. Do you know what else would I need to buy in order to make the xenons work and how much do those run?

Thanks man

Sweetbimmer 04-13-2007 01:37 PM

Different wheels i like em...welcome!

Honestly, I'm not quite sure. The only big thing I notice that you would need would be the Xenon ballast to power the HIDs as all bulbs, including new Xenon D2S bulbs, are included in the package. There might be some small parts needed as well, but I'm not quite sure what those would be.

SuperGreg 04-13-2007 01:57 PM

Very nice, I love the wheels
