Check Oil Level
 

My car was at the dealer today (for inspection) and I thought everything was ok.
Tonight I pull into my driveway and noticed the "Check Oil Level" display came on.

I have a lot of traveling to do this weekend before I leave for Vegas on Sunday. Should I be concerned? Should I head over to the dealer in the a.m?
Or should I just buy oil and do it myself?

My commute to work is 70k one way. I don't want to have car troubles on the highway, yk?

Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

buy a couple of quarts of oil. they're only about $5 a quart. you have about 1-2 quarts when that message comes on. which inspection?

Check to see if it stays on for more that a few miles of driving, if so just drive to the dealer cuz they should've check that today.

I really don't get what's funny that, if you can't post anything constructive or helpful, you might as well refrain from posting.

--If you just picked your car up from the dealer after an inspection, and the check oil light comes on, I would take it back to them.

I'm not upset but as a member, If I was in distress and ask a question some members instead of helping make fun of me; I'd be pissed. The uniqueness of this forum is because of the quality of it's members, so I was just surprised to see that kind of reaction.

I understand. My post was off topic. However, I added in my next post what I thought was a proper answer to the thread, being take the car to the dealer.
